Nothing, it was extremely upsetting to us not knowing that we were sharing a bathroom, until we woke at 4 am with some -one in our shower.!!!!
We will never go back to this rat hole & will be telling others about the fact that we did not know we were sharing a bathroom, with an ajoining room. It is very un safe not knowing that some-one could come into our bedroom. We wern't told to lock our door from the bathroom. Never have we stayed in a Motel room like that before.
Shared bathroom which was not advertised
On site parking, clean & tidy
Very small and share ensuite, TV remote didn't work!
It was convenient to Brisbane airport,
Room was very small and I did not like the shared bathroom arragnement.
quite peacefull for those that needed a rest for the day
Close to airport only good feature.
Yes, having to share a bathroom was unacceptable, especially for a woman travelling on her own. I felt unsafe whether there were instruction or not on what to do with the securing of the bathroom door when in use.
nice and quiet. shops are withing walking distance. some undercover parking if with vehicle.
two rooms share the bathroom. writing is not in English.
The check in lady was very kind, gracious and accommodating, even assisting us in carrying our luggage upstairs, which was above and beyond the call of duty! I have no complaints about the staff! The triple room we rented was clean and comfortable for our bone weary bodies. (We had flown into Brisbane from the usa and were just spending the night because we had a layover before heading to our next stop.) We walked to Coles (grocery store) and bought cereal & milk & fruit for our breakfast. The fridge did a good job keeping things cold! There was a toaster & a hot pot & there were a few plates, bowls, cups and silverware available and that was nice!
I've never heard of paying $149 & sharing a bathroom with total strangers! I would expect that at a backpackers motel or a hostel, but not at an Inn where you are paying $149!!! When it said that the room was for three people and shared a bathroom I thought it meant the three people had to share one bathroom. After arriving at the hotel and realizing we were to share a loo with the neighbors I thought it must be an "Aussie thing" and was prepared to deal with it. One of my dear Aussie friends said she has never heard of it! The neighbors had diarrhea and it took me 2 hours to get to use the loo before going to bed. They never unlocked my bathroom door - ever! (I had to "pick the lock" to use the loo.) The huge price to have to share a bathroom was the only downside. Get a room that doesn't share a loo!
location from airport good bed and clearliness of room
no staff poor building shared toilets
the room shared a bathroom with the room next door, i couldn't have a shower because i could not get into the bathroom and when i did in the morning ,the shower was an absolute mess , this hotel charged me top money for the room, b ut i will never stay at that hotel again, I feel riped off
That I only had to stay one night
I am sure I would not have booked a room with shared bathroom, but that is what I got and because it was full was not able to transfer to another room..The room was noisy and very cold. Kettle had to be propped up on plates and mug to get height so the small electrical cord to reach the power point... very dangerous! and the bathroom was very shabby, carpet fraying against the tiles.. not a happy experience
I found the Airport Inn, although only an overnight stay catered to my needs. It provided value for money, the room was clean, beautiful linen, minutes away from the airport, shops and restaurants. I would have no hesitation booking again, however, the next time I would ensure I had a private bathroom. Registration was made simple with the minimum of fuss. I wish everyone associated with the Airport Inn goodluck and may all your rooms be constantly full. Regards Rhonda
Among the cheaper places to stay near the airport, and fairly close. Also a shuttle available to the airport (but not from).
Shared toilet/shower with the next room - this was not apparent from the booking site. Also very little sound insulation between adjacent rooms.
It was convenient to the airport
I booked & paid extra for a room with a private bathroom as I didn't feel safe to share a bathroom. I also chose a park view to avoid being near the busy main road. I arrived very late at night to find my room had a shared bathroom with a male in the next room & it was right on the noisy road. The motel was booked out so there were no other rooms available. The reception staff arranged for my daughter & I to share a 2 bedroom family room with another female. She was promised that her rates would be much less for accommodating us but when it came for her to pay the next day they had changed their mind & charged her the full rate.
Nothing! A rat hole with a sharing bathroom/toilet. Incredible. Been traveled 15 yeas around the world, including Africa, never had to share a bathroom!
